Welcome to Lottery Winners ("we," "our," or "us"). These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our mobile application and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By downloading, accessing, or using Lottery Winners, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. Continued use following any changes indicates acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms comply with Apple App Store and Google Play Store requirements for mobile applications with in-app purchases.
Service description
Lottery Winners is a mobile application that provides lottery ticket scanning and checking. The Service allows you to:
- ·Scan physical lottery tickets using your device's camera
- ·Check tickets against official lottery results
- ·Receive notifications when results are available
- ·Store and track lottery ticket history
- ·View results for supported games across multiple states
User accounts
3.1 Registration
To use certain features you must create an account. You agree to:
- ·Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
- ·Maintain and promptly update your account information
- ·Maintain the security of your password and account
- ·Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
- ·Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
3.2 Authentication
We offer multiple authentication methods:
- ·Email and password registration
- ·Social login through Google OAuth
- ·Social login through Apple Sign-In (iOS)
3.3 Age requirements
You must be at least 18 years old (or the minimum legal age required in your jurisdiction) to use this Service. By using Lottery Winners, you represent that you meet the age requirements and are legally eligible to participate in lottery activities in your jurisdiction.
3.4 Account security
We implement industry-standard security, but you are responsible for:

Subscription terms
4.1 Free tier

4.2 Premium tier
- ·Unlimited tickets — no monthly limit on scanning or storage
- ·Ad-free — no advertisements
- ·Enhanced notifications — detailed and timely result notifications
- ·Ticket history — full access to your scanned ticket history
- ·Analytics dashboard — visualizations of spending vs. winnings
- ·Priority support — enhanced customer support
4.3 Billing & payment
Premium subscriptions are managed through Apple App Store (iOS) and Google Play Store (Android):
- ·Billing cycles — monthly and annual options available
- ·Payment processing — handled securely by the official app stores
- ·Automatic renewal — subscriptions renew unless cancelled before the renewal date
- ·Price changes — 30 days advance notice
4.4 Cancellation
- ·iOS — App Store → Subscriptions
- ·Android — Google Play → Subscriptions
- ·You retain premium features until the end of the current billing period
- ·Subscription fees are non-refundable except as required by law or store policy
4.5 Refunds
- ·App Store — follows Apple's standard refund policy
- ·Play Store — follows Google's refund policy
- ·Refunds may be granted for technical issues, unauthorized purchases, or as required by law
- ·Contact the respective app store's customer support for refund requests
4.6 Subscription changes
- ·30 days advance notice for material changes
- ·You may cancel if you don't agree to the changes
- ·Changes do not affect your current billing period
User responsibilities
5.1 Accurate information
- ·Provide accurate information when scanning tickets or entering data
- ·Verify lottery ticket information before relying on our results
- ·Report any errors or discrepancies you discover
5.2 Legal compliance
- ·Only scan lottery tickets that you legally possess
- ·Comply with all applicable laws in your jurisdiction
- ·Respect the intellectual property rights of lottery organizations
- ·Do not use the Service for illegal or fraudulent activities
5.3 Account security
- ·Keep your account credentials confidential
- ·Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
- ·Use the Service only for its intended purposes
Prohibited uses
6.1 Automated activities
- ·Scrape or harvest data from lottery websites or other sources
- ·Perform automated scanning or bulk processing of tickets
- ·Use bots, scripts, or other automated tools
- ·Reverse-engineer or copy our application
6.2 Illegal activities
- ·For any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms
- ·To defraud, harass, or harm other users
- ·To impersonate others or provide false information
- ·To engage in money laundering or other financial crimes
6.3 Service interference
- ·Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
- ·Attempt unauthorized access to any part of the Service
- ·Introduce viruses, malware, or harmful code
- ·Overload our servers with excessive requests
Intellectual property
7.1 Our rights
Lottery Winners and all related technology, including:
- ·The mobile application and its source code
- ·User interface design and graphics
- ·Software algorithms and business logic
- ·Branding, trademarks, and logos
are owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws.
7.2 User-generated content
When you scan or upload lottery tickets:
- ·You retain ownership of the physical tickets
- ·You grant us a limited license to process and store the images for Service functionality
- ·You confirm you have the right to scan and store these images
- ·We do not claim ownership of your ticket images
7.3 Lottery data
Lottery results and data are sourced from official lottery organizations. We do not claim ownership of official lottery data — we aggregate and present it for your convenience.
Disclaimers
8.1 Lottery result accuracy
8.2 Service "as is"
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including:
- ·Merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
- ·Non-infringement of third-party rights
- ·Uninterrupted or error-free operation
- ·Security or freedom from harmful components
8.3 Third-party data
The Service relies on third-party data providers. We are not responsible for:
- ·Delays or failures in third-party data transmission
- ·Inaccuracies in lottery results from external sources
- ·Changes to lottery rules or results by lottery organizations
- ·Technical issues with third-party APIs or services
Limitation of liability
9.1 General limitations
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lottery Winners and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including:

9.2 Specific limitations
- ·Lost winnings — any failure to claim lottery winnings due to service errors
- ·Ticket accuracy — errors in ticket scanning or result checking

- ·User actions — actions taken by other users of the Service
9.3 Maximum liability
In no event shall our total liability exceed the amount you paid for our Service in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.
Termination
10.1 Your right to cancel
You may stop using the Service at any time. Delete your account and all associated data directly in the app under Settings, or contact us to request deletion.
10.2 Our right to terminate
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for:

- ·Fraudulent or illegal activities
- ·Extended periods of inactivity
- ·Technical or security reasons
10.3 Effect of termination
- ·Your right to use the Service ceases immediately
- ·Your account data may be deleted per the data retention policy
- ·Outstanding subscription fees remain due
- ·Surviving provisions remain in effect
10.4 Data deletion
- ·We delete personal data within 30 days unless retention is required by law
- ·Lottery data retained only as long as necessary for legal compliance
- ·You may request a copy of your data before deletion
Governing law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions.
Any legal action or proceeding arising under these Terms will be brought exclusively in the federal or state courts located in Delaware, and you consent to the jurisdiction of such courts.
Dispute resolution
12.1 Informal resolution
Before pursuing formal dispute resolution, we encourage you to contact us directly to attempt to resolve disputes informally. Reach our support team at the email in Section 14.
12.2 Binding arbitration
If informal resolution fails, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Commercial Arbitration Rules.
